Hello

One of my favorite aspects of ceramics is its magnitude of possible creative expression. Unlike many art forms I have experienced, ceramics embraces imperfections and has taught me to embrace unpredictable outcomes. At the beginning of the creation of a piece, the clay is wet soft, and malleable. This means nothing is final. When working with the clay I feel like I am channeling all of my ideas, emotions, and thoughts into a physical piece. Each piece I make I feel is a reflection of my mind during that period. My pieces show my inner world better than I can explain it, making the process of creating my work extremely meaningful and important.
